Yes its too late to be a stocking stuffer, but the highly acclaimed Rampage 2010 DVD is now in stock in the new NWD films online store. What a great way to get your stoke on for riding in 2011. Freeride Entertainment is stoked for the worldwide release of their new teaser featured on the Gobi desert airing before the "Life Cycles" premiere in Vegas during Interbike. The new teaser features the Claw, Sorge and Doerfling as they travelled to China and explored the Gobi desert on a recent trip. The lid is pretty tight on this one, no one knows if this is the start of a feature film on big mountain riding in the Gobi or just a part of something much bigger which would include many remote international locations. Back for its second year, Red Bull 5000 down showcased 130+ riders in a mass start battle from the peak of Whistler to the village below. First one down wins. With a vertical drop of over 5000 ft and a foot of fresh snow on the peak, Tyler Morland ripped his way to victory and Laura Rosser took top honors in the woman's category. With a time of just over 21 minutes, the Whistler native Morland was stoked "I love winning...its exciting lining up with your friends on the front line. I wouldn't miss it for the world."
